How to Check
If you are paid hourly, look first at the hourly minimum. If you work by the day, check the daily rate. If you have a monthly salary, compare against the monthly minimum. If the month was not fully worked, compare against actual hours worked, not the full monthly amount.
Worker Rights
An employer cannot legally set a rate in the contract or pay on the payslip below the minimum wage. Even if the worker agreed to it, such a condition does not cancel the right to the minimum wage.
