Wage Delay
If the employer delays salary payment by more than 9 days past the due date, it is considered wage delay (Halanat Sachar). The worker is entitled to compensation for each day of delay.
What to Do
First, contact the employer in writing. If that doesn't help, file a complaint with the Ministry of Labor or apply to the Labor Court (Beit Din La'Avoda).
